International Summer Winter School

Summer Winter School Programs are meticulously crafted to offer students an unparalleled learning journey across diverse facets of architecture and its associated disciplines. Curated by seasoned practitioners, the immersive programs seamlessly blend theoretical knowledge with practical insights, fostering on-field, hands-on experiences that transcend traditional classroom boundaries.

EUROPEAN SCHOOL

LxS Foundation - Europe Summer School

This program selects 25 students for a month to provides exposure to alternative quality education and extend diverse initiatives in the field of social architecture, urban revitalization, collaborative academic programs and participatory design.

GLOBAL INTERNSHIPS

Internship Intensive Program

A collaboration with the European Centre for Career Education (ECCEDU), in Prague, Czech Republic. The program has a 3 week practical lecture series course covering topics such as sustainability, acoustics, lighting, and other project management related topics, as well as a 7 week course which includes the above as well as provides a 4 week internship program.

EUROPEAN CONVENTION

European Architecture Student Assembly (EASA) Convention

The European Architecture Students Assembly (EASA) began in 1981 as an informal gathering of students and tutors discussing architecture and urban environment issues. Run by students for students, EASA operates cooperatively, featuring lectures, workshops, and cultural activities. Workshops foster new skills and broader thinking. With a sister concern relationship with NASA India, EASA has maintained proactive interactions. This platform enables architecture students to exchange ideas, collaborate, and explore new perspectives, enriching their academic and professional pursuits.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

You would’ve seen the case studies of Antonio Gaudi, Bernard Tschumi, Richard Rogers, Renzo Piano and many more architects in PPTs and PDFs. The NASA India program with LxS provided us the opportunity to experience them in real time.

The program was curated in such a way that we gain international exposure and hands-on experience by working on a project in foreign soil. The entire program was handled by local architects from each cities who had knowledge on the projects and gave us proper guidance on how to analyse the buildings properly. This set the tone for our design proposal which involved extensive iterations before prototyping and testing them through various fabrication methods (laser cutting, CNC cutting etc.) in the FAB-LAB

The course heads made sure we had utmost understanding on practical knowledge as well as a fun time in exploring new cities and places. The entire one month’s experience taught me more than what I had learnt in the 3 years of college upto that time.
