NASA India presents the Architecture Photography Program initiated under the Summer Winter School Program. This program aimed at acquainting students with the primary objective to train and impart architecture photography skills to capture what is hidden in the architectural beauty of Indian-built structures and give students a professional take on architecture photography through their learnings & experiences.
The program is conducted by Nakul Jain who has been creating images for over 10 years and taking professional assignments for Architecture, Interiors, Furniture, and related photography since 2012. A Gold Medalist and Alumni of the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, he has a deep respect for the profession of Architecture. He has won several awards and accolades in his young career span and continues to push the boundaries and explore newer photographs.
The program is divided into two phases
1) An Architectural Photography Competition whose brief has been out already. The deadline for the pictures and abstract submission is the 10th of October,2022.
2) Selected 25 candidates will get a chance to attend Nakul Jain's Workshop in Delhi. This workshop would involve a brief to be released before the workshop and the materialization of the brief till the end of the three-day workshop which will span from 8th to 10th November at the Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi.
3) Selected students' work will be featured in NASA India's flagship annual magazine "Indian Arch".
Note- Students selected do not have to bear any workshop tutor fees but only the accommodation, travel, and food which the coordinator can guide with for 3 days.
